For high floors and narrow stairs we use the furniture lift. We apply for limited traffic zone (ZTL) permits ourselves.

We dismantle, pack and load. Transport is done with our own vehicles and our own team.
Arrival and reassembly
We unload, take everything to the right room and reassemble the furniture.
Our story
Thirty years with wood in our hands.
Catalin started working with wood in 1995, in Romania. For seven years he was a carpenter: he learned to choose the right material, to measure twice and cut once, and to build furniture made to last.
In 2003 he came to Italy and wood remained his trade: CataHouse group Traslochi was born, fitting kitchens, wardrobes, bedrooms and made-to-measure work. He brings the same care to removals, because anyone who knows how to assemble a piece of furniture also knows how to take it apart, protect it and put it back together without damaging it.
Now comes the showroom in Viale Mazzini 154/B, the dream Catalin has been chasing for years: choosing furniture together with customers and then delivering and assembling it, with no middlemen.

Move the van and catch boxes, lamps and sofas as they fall. Watch out for fines: in real life we apply for ZTL permits ourselves, here you have to dodge them.
Furniture storage
New home not ready? We'll keep your furniture.
It happens often: the completion date slips, the work isn't finished, the lease ends early. We collect your furniture, store it and bring it back when the house is ready.

To keep the storage tidy, all the furniture is collected together. If you need something back earlier, we'll arrange it.
Furnishing your new home
New home, new furniture?
From January 2027 the CataHouse group Arredamenti showroom opens in Viale Mazzini 154/B, Alba Adriatica: kitchens, living rooms, bedrooms and made-to-measure furniture, delivered and assembled by the same team that does the removals.

Frequently asked questions
Before you call
How much does a move cost?
It depends on how much there is to move, the floors, the lift and the distance. With this information, and a few photos of the rooms, we give you an exact price before we start.
Do you dismantle and reassemble furniture?
Yes, we dismantle and reassemble wardrobes, beds and kitchens. Shelves, pictures, lamps, curtains and wall fixings are agreed separately in the contract.
Do you bring the boxes?
Yes. We supply boxes and packing materials, and we can pack the whole house or just part of it.
Who handles the permits?
We apply for limited traffic zone (ZTL) permits ourselves. If public land needs to be occupied or private areas accessed, those permits are the customer's responsibility: we'll tell you what to ask for.
Do you move to other regions?
Yes, we work all over Italy.
How do I pay?
With a deposit when you sign the contract, a part on the day of departure and the balance when the job is done. The amounts are written in the contract.
